See you all in a week.

I'm sorry that I will be missing classes next week. But a project that I have been working on, pouring my soul into, is finally culminating. And even though I have a few years under my belt designing Web pages with Dreamweaver, I consider my skills pretty crude. I don't know the shortcut secrets, the little stuff that can be so important or can make all the difference in creating a web site more eficciently.

Since I'm here to stay in this class, to learn just a bit more, I dont want to give next week's assigment short shrift. As a temporary measure, I will link my personal Web site to this blog and also post it on the class Wiki. In it are are Web sites that I've developed for clients. They are only very simple static sites, but for my clients' purposes they work.

I am also going to create a single Web page containing documents that I created in last semesters class: Instructional Design Systems, which to some degree only shows that I understand the assignments that are due next week: the design document, etc.

Note that some of the multimedia won't work on MACs, like the linked PowerPoint presentation.

I would love a critique from you, Jim. And for the project you've assigned in class,if you have any additional thoughts on how I can improve on what I've done in the past, I'm open to suggestions.

Anyone who has any questions, or simply needs help with Dreamweaver, please feel free to contact me by email. I will be happy to reply with my phone numbers.
